Liubov Semionova (pronounced Lee-u-bof Se-mi-o-no-va), a Russian-born artist, creates wearable art, such as scarves, necklaces, kerchiefs, shawls, wraps and ponchos hand painted on silk and other fabric by the artist using dyes. She specializes in detailed embroidery on many of her painted works, using gold thread and other materials, making her wearable art unique and an uncommon aspect of silk painting. Her mastery of embroidery comes from technical expertise in her family passed from one generation to the next.

Each silk painting is a unique piece of never-repeated designs. The designs are based upon floral motifs from Liubov’s native Russia, but some are traditional motifs based on famous Russian fairytales. Liubov also develops unique pieces based on clients' requests for individual colors and designs. All pieces are hand washable and resist heat so they can be ironed at low heat setting.
